In January 1998 Coves Edge began the process of phasing out the old style bed monitors with throw away sensors.

By November 2002 there were 55 PrestoCall PAC-200 monitors delivered and installed with lifetime sensors.

The sensor is installed under the mattress.

Sensitivity is adjustable for a wide range of patient weight, from newborn, to a 500 pound adult.
