KelMarine ICCP 2504 Anode

The omni-style platinized-titanium anode is installed above the metals to be protected in the stern. The anode is positioned so that it can emit a controlled protection current at the rate of 1-1/2 milliamps per square foot of metal. The current is impressed onto the dis-similar metal parts that have been electrically bonded together and connected back to the ICCP controller.

The anode is connected to the output of the controller. Current is adjusted to a level that will achieve a zinc reference test cell reading of +250 millivolts (-850 millivolts using a copper sulfate cell standard).
