CodeCast Local Area Signaling Systems

CodeCast was first introduced in 1992 as a single channel wireless communication accessory for PrestoCall fall prevention patient monitors.

Basic systems operate on any one of 128 selectable, binary encoded, discrete channels. For higher security requirements CodeCast is scalable to 12 digits, providing over 100 billion discrete codes.

Unlike wideband voice and data transmission formats, CodeCast controls a normally open (N.O.) switch contact, or multiple contacts. CodeCast can be used with ProRata anticipative sensors and PrestoCall Tattle-Tel autodial phone accessories for an effective and affordable early warning machine condition monitor. Other applications include monitoring of threshold setpoint limits for speed, temperature, pressure etc.

CodeCast is low power, and in most environments will operate reliably within a range of 150 feet. The system is plug and play, with no license to setup and use. Flexible encoding allows the addition of repeater stations, and multiple channels, to extend coverage.

CodeCast transmitters and recievers are designed for long battery life. Transmitters are completely shutdown, with no battery drain, until an activation signal is applied at the input.

The basic three digit reciever draws only one quarter milliampere (.00025 ampere) until the transmitted signal is recieved.

A wide range of power supplies are available including solar.
